Hey, I'm Phil.
I currently work as a freelance Lighting and Digital assistant based in London. Although many people think being an assistant isn't all that exciting rather than being a full time photographer, life as an assistant has opened up a world of opportunities for me over the last year. I've kept my head down and learnt as much as possible so when I do eventually make the transition to full time photographer, the skills i've learnt can be applied to their full effect.
I've spent the last 6 months working full time for Internationally acclaimed photographer Simon Lipman, throwing myself right in at the deep-end in the heart of the fashion industry working with major clients such as Diesel, DKNY, Esquire, Very.co.uk, Jane Norman, INLondon and more.
Making the decision to go freelance means working with more photographers all over the world and meeting clients from all areas of the photography and film industry. Working in major London studios and regularly traveling abroad on jobs has made it clear that working in the industry is where I should stay.
